To celebrate our 15th Summer League, we held a contest to design a new logo for the summer jerseys. We’re so in love with the logo that we’ve decided to create special edition 15th Anniversary Reversible Jerseys for purchase! It’s almost here! Summer League starts in two weeks, and we couldn’t be more excited. The schedule for the first three weeks of play has been posted, and can be found here.

From June 5 – July 12, teams ranked 13-26 will play on Tuesday evenings, and teams ranked 1-12 will play on Thursday evenings.
From July 17 – August 23, teams ranked 13-26 will play on Thursday evenings, and teams ranked 1-12 will play on Tuesday evenings.

Playoff day, along with the Summer End Party at Rocket will be Saturday August 25.
Before the league kicks off on June 5, Captains are expected to attend the Captain’s Meeting next Thursday May 31, and should have received an email with further details.

Mile Zero Ultimate (St. John’s co-ed league) has partnered with Tempest Ultimate (women’s competitive team) to create two upcoming clinics focused on beginner and intermediate skills. The clinics are free and will be run by the ladies of Tempest.
These clinics are a great opportunity to try out a new sport, or get in some practice before the upcoming MZU Summer League. Sign up solo or bring a friend! (Attendees must be 18 years of age or older, as per MZU’s bylaws).

Winter BIY is in full swing, and Mile Zero Ultimate wants to see your photos! Send us your team photos, action shots and pics from your spirit circles! Submit your photos to us by sending via Facebook message or emailing to hi@milezeroultimate.com before the end of the regular season (April 30). No limits on photos, you can submit as many as you’d like! An album with all the submitted photos will be posted at the beginning of playoffs, and voting will run until the end of the league (May 14). The photo with the most “Likes” wins, and the player who submitted that photo will win a MZU Lighthouse Disc!
Hey MZU! We’re mixing up our winter social event this year by booking a block of tickets for a St. John’s Edge basketball game on Saturday March 31st at 4pm. Please complete the form at the link below by Tuesday March 13th at midnight, so we can secure as many tickets as possible at a discounted rate. If we receive enough interest, we will contact you with details for ordering tickets. The price of the tickets will depend on the number of people attending, but will not exceed $15 each.
