No registrations accepted after March 20th.

We are excited to announce the details for our upcoming winter league!
Our 2024 Winter League will run on Monday nights from January 8th until March 18th. You have the choice of two different league formats (explained more below). Registration for both leagues will open on Sunday December 3rd at noon. From December 3rd until December 27th, you can register for one of the two league formats. After December 27th registration will open to allow you to register for both formats if you wish. Registration for both league formats will close on January 3rd.

We’re closing in on Playoffs for MZU’s Summer League so we wanted to clarify a few things around subbing to make sure things flow smoothly. Full details can be found on our Subbing Policy Page.
Teams are only allowed to have subs so that they have a maximum of 5 open and 5 female matching players. You also cannot have more subs than rostered players for the game. (i.e.: You cannot have 3 female matching subs and 2 female matching rostered players. In this case, you can only have 2 female matching subs)
Both Registered and Non-Registered players can sub for ONE GAME ONLY. The same person cannot sub for more than one game, even if it is with another team.
All playoff subs MUST be accepted by the opposing team captain and the league. Please include vpleague@milezeroultimate.com in your communication with the opposing team. Advanced notice is appreciated but we understand the nature of the playoff schedule will make this difficult.
Yes! The subbing cap was for regular season only.

The score penalty that was in effect for the regular season is NOT in effect for playoffs. Last minute requests are still subject to confirmation and approval by the opposing captain and the league, as discussed earlier.

Joining MZU this Summer?! Add some extra Ultimate to your week, at no added cost! We’re happy to announce our Wednesday Summer Hat League:
You must be registered in MZUxQV Summer League. During registration, answer ‘Yes’ to “Do you want to enter the draft for the 2023 Wednesday Summer Hat League?” in the summer league registration questionnaire.
8 GMs will draft teams in a snake style draft. GMs can start with either gender match as their 1st pick, but must alternate gender match with each subsequent pick.

We will draw names.
We will draw 72 names from the registered player pool and teams will be drafted from those players.
We will adjust the team composition and/or on field ratio if need be to keep to 8 teams.
Yes, but as a player other GMs can draft you to their team. You will not automatically be on the team you are drafting.
Nothing! Once teams are formed there will be no trades and you will play with the team you have been drafted to. Be sure to spectate and cheer on your team!

Get ready for the 2022 Quidi Vidi Brewery Outdoor Fall Hat League!
Team Composition: 10 players, with a composition of 5 male-matching and 5 female-matching players per team (may change based on registration numbers).
Note: Hat teams are built to blend experienced, intermediate, and beginner players on each team, to try to achieve skill parity between teams and to allow newer players to learn from more experienced players.
